A special feature of the Jerky House is Bitafiskur, it is dried haddock fillet and comes from Iceland. To produce 1kg of dried fish, 5kg of fresh fish fillets are used. The freeze-dried fish is not fried, so the fat content is less than 1 percent! Bitafiskur is salted during preparation only slightly and there are no flavor enhancers, artificial additives or preservatives used.
